For his blatant lack of loyalty to his Kiwi friends who took him to nearly the entire Rugby World Cup Bitwrathploob was confined to his hotel room for the weekend in Paris. He did have a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower though.
When my friend Erik invited me to his wedding in Spain I had no idea that he would only send two invites for my girlfriend and I leaving poor Bitwrathploob out in the cold. I did consider leaving the girlfriend at home and even though I do wake up screaming thinking about Bitwrathploob I still thought it would be wise to take the girlfriend. Safety first and all that.
Bitwrathploob really enjoyed the ceremony. The bride and groom looked beautiful in the old Spanish church.
He made a lot of new friends.
As usual he went too far. Although I think he was a bit angry with Erik for not inviting him.
He even managed to have a piece of the deliscious cake.
And the whole time Erik never knew he was there. (except maybe later on when I dropped him on the ground right in front of him).
We took Bitwrathploob to Cardiff to watch the All Blacks. We thought we would easilly beat France. But we didn’t. It was a disaster for New Zealand, getting knocked out in the quarter finals is our worst ever performance at the Rugby World Cup. After the game he didn’t say much. On Sunday we went to the Cardiff waterfront to take our minds off the disaster and take some tourist photos.
Later we got and idea why Bitwrathploob was still wearing his usual smile when the rest of the froup were all so down. The blue coat and red nose were staring us in the face all the time. We really should have guessed.
